Who runs Snitch Please
Snitch Please is created and operated by Damsara Perera, an independent developer based in Sri Lanka. These terms cover the Snitch Please app, website and demo. Contact hdtdamsara@gmail.com about the service or these terms.
By using Snitch Please, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.
Who can play
You must be at least 18 and meet any higher legal drinking age where you are. Follow local laws. Do not give minors access to the game.
Drink responsibly
Alcohol is never required. Use a non-alcoholic drink, skip any card or stop playing at any time. No player owes the group a drink, an answer or a dare.
You decide whether and how much to drink. Never treat a sip count, penalty, timer, streak or intensity level as a safe drinking limit or a reason to keep drinking. Do not binge drink, pressure anyone to drink, or drink and drive.
Snitch Please cannot assess your age, health, medication, alcohol tolerance or intoxication. It does not monitor consumption and provides no medical advice. Do not drink if it would be unsafe for you. If you suspect alcohol poisoning or another medical emergency, stop playing and contact local emergency services immediately.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Snitch Please and Damsara Perera are not responsible for overconsumption of alcohol, intoxication, accidents, injuries or other harm resulting from a player's voluntary drinking decisions or unsafe conduct. This does not exclude any liability that cannot legally be excluded, as explained under Liability and your rights.
If you host, show these safety rules to everyone before playing and respect anyone's decision to skip or stop. Never use the game to override another person's consent.
AI cards and consent
AI-generated cards may be inaccurate, offensive or inappropriate despite safeguards. They are fictional entertainment, not factual claims about a player, advice or instructions you must follow. A generated card never makes unsafe, illegal, sexual or non-consensual conduct acceptable.
Skip or report a card that crosses a boundary. Ask before sharing anyone's name, story, photo or game results. Consent to play does not mean consent to physical contact, disclosure of private information, recording or public posting.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep access to your account secure. Only submit information you have permission to share. Do not submit sensitive personal details, harass or threaten people, infringe others' rights, bypass limits or disrupt the service.
You retain rights in content you submit. You allow Snitch Please and its service providers to process that content as needed to generate cards, deliver the service, investigate reports and maintain safety, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Snitch Please may restrict access or remove content to address abuse, security risks or breaches of these terms. Contact the email above if you believe a restriction is mistaken. Any mandatory consumer rights still apply.
Free play and passes
Guest installs receive one free allowance that does not reset. Signed-in accounts receive a free nightly allowance, with the remaining cards and reset time shown in the app. The website demo has a separate allowance. Free allowances are game limits, never drinking targets.
A Party Pass lasts 24 hours. A Year Pass lasts 365 days. While active, a pass removes the free card allowance and unlocks intensity levels 4 and 5. Time starts when the pass is granted; another purchase extends the later of your current expiry or the new grant time. Passes do not pause when you close the app.
Passes are one-time purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play and do not automatically renew. The store shows the price and applicable taxes before payment. Store refund procedures apply alongside any refund or other rights required by law. Refunded or revoked purchases may reduce your remaining pass time.
Deleting your account ends access to any active pass and does not itself request a refund. Contact support before deleting if you need help with a purchase. Changes to prices apply to future purchases; they do not retrospectively change a completed purchase. Free allowances may change.
Availability and ownership
You may use the app for personal entertainment subject to these terms. The app's software, branding and original materials remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not transfer ownership to you or prevent uses allowed by law.
The service depends on hosting, AI and app-store providers. Availability and generated content are not guaranteed. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, outages or safety reasons. This does not remove any rights you have when a paid service is not supplied as required by law.
Liability and your rights
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every player. You remain responsible for your voluntary conduct while playing.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Your statutory rights take priority over conflicting wording in these terms.
International players
Snitch Please is operated from Sri Lanka. Availability in a store does not override local age restrictions or laws. Mandatory protections in your country still apply; these terms do not require you to give up local consumer remedies or bring every claim in Sri Lanka.
For Australian consumers, the Australian Consumer Law provides guarantees that cannot be excluded. Where applicable, you may be entitled to remedies such as a refund, replacement, correction of a service failure or compensation. Neither the drinking disclaimer nor an app store's refund policy removes those rights.
For UK and European Economic Area consumers, any mandatory rights concerning digital content, services and withdrawal remain in force. These terms alone do not waive a statutory withdrawal right or supply any separate consent required for immediate performance.
Questions, disputes and changes
Contact hdtdamsara@gmail.com to raise a complaint or purchase issue. This does not prevent you from using an app store's complaint process or seeking a remedy from a court or regulator available to you under applicable law.
Updated terms will appear here with a new effective date. Material changes should be reviewed before you continue using the service. Any notice or consent required by applicable law remains necessary; continued use does not waive your mandatory rights.
